PERAK

i can't hold myself from commenting on Perak issue...i believe it is everyone's right to have a say on this issue responsibly..let me start with this...

i am not a law graduate, but i do know that the very fundamental right for every person is the right to speak and for other person to respect it...you don't have to agree with other people's views, but you have to listen to it...however, i still believe that rules that are "MASUK AKAL" are important so that the speaker won't go to other direction than the topic we are talking about...have you guys went to any debating competition? if 3 minutes are given to the first speaker from government's side, then 3 minutes are also the time given to the first spekar from the opposition side..that is how simple the rules are...for instance, during the petrol price issue, the openness of the then information minister Datuk Shabery Chik and the de-facto leader of PKR Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim to debate on a fair platform was a remarkable history...i thought that would be the starting of a new more intelectual era of Malaysia, however it is sad to see that this trend is likely not to be continued..in the reality of the world today, controlling the channels for expressing views is not the way the game should be played..

i do agree with discussion, meeting, musyawarah or any other terms that lead to the idea of trying to find the similarities in order to get the best solution...however it should be done on a fair ground without bias..the readiness of the prime minister Dato' Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak and Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim to discuss on finding the solution of Perak fiasco is A GOOD START...however, i still believe that the best way is to hold a snap election...let the Perakians decide of their future...the voters are above 18 years old and the have the right to decide their own future..and i believe they are not sick of ANOTHER ELECTION...
